This was "THE SHEPHERD STREET GANG." Awesome picture of my father (far right) with his childhood friends. They were all about 17-18 here but he knew them since they were all in kindergarten. He really loved this picture and was always sad that the guys lost touch over the decades. This was taken just before he went into the Navy in 1950. The man standing on the far left was Frank Fewell and he would be my father's best man seven years later. Look at the suit my dad is wearing. Wow! Look at those creases.
